Coach Roy brings a wealth of personal experience to our program, having navigated the recruitment process in high school and the NCAA transfer portal. His achievements, including being an 8-time team conference champion, a 1-time All-American, a 1-time All-West Region selection, and a 4-time All-Conference honoree, reflect his commitment to excellence in athletics and academics.

With a Master’s degree in Business Management from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Coach Roy has over seven years of experience in Collegiate Track and Field. His journey in coaching began during his collegiate career at Maple Grove High School, where he discovered his true calling while navigating a season-ending injury.

In addition to leading TST, Coach Roy also coaches Track and Field at the University of Northwestern St. Paul, a private Division III institution. In his two years there, he’s coached over 47 All-Conference UMAC Athletes, 31 UMAC Champions, and one two-time NCCAA All-American and NCCAA National Champion in 400mH. He has also helped the Eagles break over 28 School Records.

At the high school level, he’s coached 5 individual/relay State Champions in the Minnesota State High School League (6A), a top 50 women’s 400m Outdoor mark in the country in 2024, as well as over 7 school records between Saint Michael Albertville High School and Maple Grove High School

Coach Delaney joins as the new Head of Distance and Javelin.

She has great experience as a collegiate athlete at Concordia St Paul University’s

Cross Country team, along with their track and field team. Competing in the 3k, 5k,

and 10k mostly. Along with this experience, Delaney is an Assistant Coach at North

Central University, where she is the Head of Distance, Weight Throw, Hammer

Throw and Javelin. Her current accolades as a college coach include 11 NCCAA

qualified athletes and multiple All UMAC honorees in both Cross Country and track

and field.

Coach Cade joins TST as the new Head of shot put and discuss.

He brings several years of competitive collegiate experience to TST. Two years at St Olaf College,

He was a 3x All-MIAC Honoree and a MIAC Champion in shot put. Coach Cade later transferred to

Concordia University, St Paul, where he became an NSIC shot put scorer.
